For over 10 years, the AlterNatives Bluegrass & Brews Festival has been a space where community and creativity come together—like a homemade jam, blending unique ingredients into something sweet, soulful, and deeply satisfying.
Bluegrass music, much like the Highland Support Project’s work in regenerative design, thrives on collaboration, connection, and harmony. This festival is more than an event; it’s a non-commercial third space where we gather to share music, ideas, and fellowship, all in the spirit of promoting environmental, social, and ecological wellbeing.
Join us this Saturday, May 9th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, for an afternoon of acoustic bluegrass, delicious food, vibrant flowers from a women-run business, and meaningful conversations. Together, let’s create a community that’s as rich and nourishing as a homemade jam.
