Long-term Accompaniment: Indigenous Entrepreneurs
In the past few months, the Highland Support Project (HSP) and the Asociacion de Mujeres del Altiplano (AMA) have been able to provide resources to Indigenous Guatemalan women thanks to your generous support. With your help, we continue to support these entrepreneurs and provide them with the tools and guidance they need to thrive.
With our Longterm Accompaniment project, we have had the opportunity to collaborate with AMA and other organizations to provide new opportunities to female entrepreneurs. By working with Puentes de Amistad (Bridges of Friendship), we were able to host a training and business participation event that offered business contacts and allowed them to build a network of partners and support.
We have also hosted a business meeting for women to showcase their businesses and the products they sell with our online marketing program. This not only allowed them to show off their products but also provided another opportunity for networking with others in their community. The meetings in Quetzaltenango and Totonicapá helped them develop skills in marketing their products to potential buyers as well.
We thank you again for your donations and support of our project!
